Before and After: Girls Shared Bedroom
I had originally spotted the wallpaper for this bedroom on Pinterest. Blogger Mallory Fitzsimmons used it for her daughter Landry’s nursery and I fell in love. Needless to say I used her design inspiration and recreated the look for my daughter Kensington’s nursery. I have posts on her nursery HERE and HERE. That nursery was in our old home and when we moved I was so upset about leaving that adorable room behind.
I still loved the wallpaper and all of the decor so I created a new version at our new house. Since moving, we welcomed to our family another daughter, Teagan. This room fortunately accommodates two little girls perfectly and I have no regrets about putting up the beloved pink peony wallpaper for a second time!
My personal style always includes a blend of both vintage and new items, and this room is no different.
I will include sources and/or tips to find like items at the end of the post.
This bedroom also has it’s own little bathroom, you can see the post I did on that makeover, HERE.
Here are some photos of the room when we moved in:

Full disclosure: My daughter’s room does not always look this tidy and put together, I do let her play in here (as seen below), so there is often American Girl doll stuff and other toys strewn about. She is pretty good about wanting her stuff to be neat and organized and fortunately she does have a handy storage room off of her bedroom to tuck away all of the extra stuff.
