Creative Ways to Display Your Holiday Cards
If you read THIS post offering tips and ideas for a family holiday card then you already know that I am a holiday card fanatic. If you didn't read it, then now I am going to tell you...I am a holiday card fanatic!!!
(P.S. If you are still scrambling to get a holiday card done, Shutterfly created THIS awesome post which includes 100 ideas for photo cards, you NEED to check it out!!)
In addition to getting them in the mail, loving every sentiment and adorable photo I always make the greatest effort to properly display them so that whoever stops by our house can enjoy and appreciate them as well.
In past years I have taped them around the trim of our back sliding door, made a DIY ribbon contraption, and most recently pinned them all to our pin board in the kitchen entryway (and taped the overflow to the wall).
I always admire when people have crafty ways of displaying their cards. So I have rounded up some cute ideas from Pinterest and the Internet, including some DIY options. If you have a picture or a creative way that you display your cards please message me! I would love to post your picture and/or pass along your idea!!
First option is an adorable and easy DIY. You can go to a Goodwill, Salvation army or thrift story and find a cheap, old painting with a great frame. Simply pop out the painting, spray paint the frame and either string lights like in the below picture, ribbon, string, etc. Then use clothespins to attach the cards. If you have a big enough wall and get a lot of cards it would look super cool to do a gallery wall with several frames.
This second option is super easy and you may even already have wide ribbon and clothespins! Perfect for those of you who have those kitchen cabinets over a desk area.

Here is another easy option to do with ribbon and clothespins...would be perfect on the basement door.

I also tend to separate the picture cards from the other holiday cards. I am thinking a gallery type of display for the picture cards and I really like the following options for displaying and utilizing the beauty of non-photo cards.

I really like this option below because with non-photo cards you can really layer them and not feel so bad if part of the card isn't showing.

This last option is a huge space saver and if you are lacking a good place to display photo cards it would be a perfect little coffee table book for your guests to enjoy.

I suspect the cards will start to really roll in over the next couple of weeks so you still have time to get a little crafty!!
Enjoy friends!!
